Photographer’s time & talent, styling assistance, and hand edited digital images. You will receive your final edited images in a locked, watermarked gallery. Depending on the package you choose, you will either favorite the images you want or you will receive all of your images. Once everything is finalized, you will receive your images without a watermark in both web-sized and high resolution files.
Your retainer fee holds your date on my calendar. Once that is paid and a contract is signed, you are officially on the books! Your remaining balance is due before your session.

Location definitely depends on the session type. There are many different “scenes” throughout Austin and Hill Country — the world is our oyster. For majority of sessions, we will utilize nature. For others, we may utilize a local studio or your home. If you choose to utilize a local studio, there will be an additional $100 fee added onto your package.

Outdoor sessions start about 1.5 hrs before sunset. This will change throughout the year, so start time depends on the date of your session. Children do not usually do well when the session lasts longer than 45 minutes, so I make sure to get all that we need in 45min-1hr.
If we are doing a lifestyle session in your home, we will most likely start mid-day for best light. Those usually last about an hour, but there is no time limit- so if we need a bit more time, that’s totally built into my schedule.
Please try to arrive 10 minutes early for your outdoor session! This allows for children to wake up from the car ride over and get warmed up and ready to go.

My favorite part about each session is seeing the expression or vibe that the people are wanting. When you hire me, we go over wardrobe and complementing colors. There are certain colors and patterns we try to avoid, but for the most part, it’s more about finessing what you currently have!

Absolutely! Many of my clients choose to make a Pinterest board and will add me to it. However, don’t feel obligated to come with a million poses unless you really want to. The beauty of hiring me is that I come with years of experience in posing all different body sizes and shapes to compliment you. Usually once I get going during a session, it flows seamlessly.

For most portrait sessions, my turnaround time on full galleries is 2-3 weeks. I do offer a rush fee if you’re needing them quicker than that. For bigger events, like weddings, you can expect your gallery in 8-10 weeks. However, I will be in communication with you every step of the way!
Once you receive your images, they are yours to print wherever and whenever you would like, HOWEVER, I do have certain printers I recommend using; your images may not turn out as amazing as they look on screen if you go with the cheapest printer. MPix is a good choice for prints. Make sure you backup and save your files! AND print them!

If the forecast is cloudy- that’s perfectly fine! Cloudy days make for great and flattering lighting on faces. Often times cloudy days turn into amazing sunsets anyway. If there is a high chance of rain, we will reschedule outdoor sessions. Indoor sessions are fine if it’s not sunny!

For majority of my portrait sessions, it is immediate family only unless you specify it to me. However, I am flexible and willing to work with you! Communication is best!
